Meetups every Monday @5:30 pm in front of the Strathcona Community Centre,
601 Keefer Street and we'll walk to the park to work together. Art and writing supplies provided -– or bring your own!

Our first focus will be "What is Community Organizing?" “Who are your people and how do you organize when you want (or need) to work (and play!) together?”

Community Organizing takes enthusiasm, perseverance, creativity and co-operation. Through writing and art, we're interested in sharing the organizing that happens right here in our neighbourhood – and assembling a How-To Toolkit for anyone who wants to organize anything from a block party to a building co-op.
